About Karen

I have learnt and continue to learn that healing on all levels is a life long process.  Sometimes it's a bumpy ride or feels like a roller coaster, sometimes the going is smooth and calm.  Whatever side of the path we are on there is always something to keep our interest.  As we learn to have more compassion for ourselves and others we also increase our ability to feel deep joy and a sense of well being which guides us on our way.

I began my healing journey by training as a nurse and, once qualified, felt the need to travel the world, living within and learning about other cultures and lifestyles. During this time I developed my teaching skills within the aviation industry becoming a senior instructor and examiner for the civil aviation industry.

I was ‘grounded’ following the birth of my son and my career took another path when I became the owner of a registered home for adolescents who had suffered early life trauma.  I undertook formal training as an integrative psychotherapist as pre requisite to understanding my own process and that of the young people I worked with. 

I also began a lengthy period of personal therapy to heal my own trauma, deepening my authenticity, empathy and healing skills for myself and others.

Over the years I have trained in many disciplines and have been blessed with many wonderful teachers and guides, friends and clients who have all contributed to my personal and spiritual development enriching my life and healing practice.

I continue in practice as a reiki healer, counsellor, nurse, mentor, lifestyle and wellness coach and teach on counselling, spiritual and personal development and health related courses. I also have the pleasure of leading guided weekly meditations on psychicradio.co.uk and welcome you to listen and join in.

I received the nine rites of Munay Ki at Gorton Monastery in 2008 and an now blessed and priveleged to pass these on to all who seek these wonderful energies. Initiation into these rites is a powerful and life enhancing process and I encourage all seekers who wish to hold these energies to take these initiations for yourselves.

I hold regular reiki and psychic surgery clinics in Shoreham, East Sussex and  Eastbourne, and continue to hold workshops here and in Bucharest.  If you are interested in my work and would like me to hold workshops in your area please feel free to contact me to discuss details.
